THE ROLE
As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing frontline emergency care where every second matters. You will manage a variety of cases, from minor to severe emergencies, working closely with our skilled doctors and support team to deliver exemplary, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will encompass triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while offering reassurance to pet parents during their most challenging moments. This position is ideal for someone eager to apply their training and continue advancing their skills while making a significant difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide compassionate care to every patient and family, ensuring they feel supported throughout their veterinary journey.
- Take immediate action in delivering nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical situations, from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and execute advanced procedures including IVs and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to care planning and ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, with ongoing training provided to enhance your skills.
