Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments for each assigned patient, considering age-specific physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental factors.
- Identify and evaluate patient and family educational needs, preferences, and readiness to learn.
- Proactively anticipate potential complications related to the patient's condition and their adjustment to illness.
- Develop and continually refine nursing care plans based on comprehensive assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Facilitate effective communication with physicians and healthcare providers regarding patient observations and reactions.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, initiating appropriate nursing interventions as necessary.
- Prioritize patient care needs dynamically based on changing conditions and unit activity.
- Engage in discharge planning from the moment of admission, ensuring patient education and understanding of care plans.
- Adhere to Standards of Care and OSHA regulations to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Document interventions and patient responses accurately and timely.
