International Health and Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional healthcare services while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This pivotal role encompasses the management of daily operations, resolution of clinical issues, and the cultivation of a collaborative environment that promotes optimal patient care and professional development of staff.
- Directly supervise nursing staff and oversee all facets of the nursing program within the facility.
- Manage staff scheduling and coverage for absences while developing and implementing orientation and training programs for new hires.
- Offer guidance and mentoring to staff to enhance performance and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Supervise front-line patient care delivered by nursing staff, including nursing assistants, technicians, and medical assistants.
- Plan, schedule, assign, and direct nursing care while independently evaluating efforts.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care interventions, utilizing comprehensive knowledge of each patient's unique status and anticipated responses.
- Regularly evaluate and adjust patient treatment plans in partnership with the healthcare team.
- Review patient records to monitor treatment progress, record-keeping adequacy, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Timely report significant changes in patient status to appropriate healthcare providers.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to discuss and propose revisions to medical treatment plans.
- Act as a liaison and foster collaborative relationships with professionals from other healthcare disciplines.
- Conduct staff in-services covering both general and complex topics aimed at improving nursing and medical care.
- Coordinate nursing care with other onsite personnel.
- Manage the treatment and transportation of acutely ill or injured patients as necessary.
- Lead the orientation and training of new nursing personnel on protocols and specific patient population requirements.
- Deliver health education and counseling to reinforce adherence to protocols.
- Contribute to the analysis of established protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in formulating recommendations to enhance patient care efficiency.
- Assist in program design activities, strategic development, problem-solving, and project implementation.
- Perform Registered Nurse duties as needed to meet agency mission requirements.
- Possess extensive knowledge of complex nursing concepts, principles, and practices.
