JOB PURPOSE
The Regional Sales Manager will be pivotal in enhancing Konecranes Lifttrucks sales operations within the designated territory, promoting sustainable business growth over the long term.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all sales activities for Konecranes Lift Trucks in your designated territory, which includes China, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Japan—from the initial sales contract to the final delivery.
- Identify and secure long-term business opportunities in the assigned region.
- Build and sustain relationships with distributors and both existing and prospective customers.
- Manage distributor relations throughout the territory, which includes preparing sales forecasts and overseeing sales and financial reporting processes.
- Contribute to the development of the broader Lift Trucks strategy for the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with regional management and the Lift Trucks business unit to implement strategic action plans.
- Negotiate agreements with dealers/distributors and manage pricing discussions in accordance with directives from the Head of APAC, BU Lift Trucks.
- Provide feedback to Quality and R&D teams to enhance product quality and development.
- Represent Konecranes BU Lift Trucks at industry trade shows and conferences.
- Work closely with Port Solutions and other Business Units within the territory.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards.
