Role Overview
As the Channel Sales Leader, you will be pivotal in expanding Verkada's national channel business by leading and nurturing a high-performing team of Regional Channel Sales Managers (CSMs). Your main focus will be to drive consistently strong performance above quota through strategic partner engagement, disciplined pipeline management, and robust executive relationships within Verkada’s Regional Partner ecosystem in the Western region.
This leadership position is people-centric, blending strategic oversight with practical execution. You will collaborate closely with senior sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and key partners to facilitate growth in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
Your Responsibilities
You will take the lead, empowering your team to build a robust pipeline, close intricate deals, and strengthen strategic partner connections. Here’s what you will be accountable for:
- Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team:
Guide, mentor, and coach a team of approximately 6-8 Regional Channel Sales Managers to meet both individual and team quotas. Recruit, hire, onboard, and cultivate top-tier channel talent while providing support to underperformers to achieve success. - Drive Pipeline & Forecast Excellence:
Assist and coach CSMs in daily pipeline building, maintaining excellent pipeline hygiene, and ensuring accurate forecasting.
