In the role of Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring precise cost management, effective subcontractor administration, timely client invoicing, and maintaining financial compliance across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Analyzing project plans and specifications to provide thorough cost estimations, conducting pricing research, and preparing detailed cost breakdowns, including direct, indirect costs, and contingencies.
- Project Cost Management: Overseeing and controlling all project costs from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budgetary targets.
- Client Invoicing & Reporting: Preparing and reviewing invoices for accuracy, generating reports for project progress.
- Procurement & Subcontractor Management: Managing procurement activities, evaluating vendor bids, and ensuring timely processing of subcontractor agreements.
- Productivity Analysis: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and collaborating with project management teams to enhance productivity.
- Contracts Administration: Ensuring compliance with contract administration policies and resolving contractual issues in collaboration with project managers.
