The Quality Inspector is responsible for assessing the quality of parts and raw materials to ensure they meet specified standards. This role involves documenting inspection results, entering data into relevant software systems, and communicating defects to supervisors to facilitate corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Quality Team, either as a team member or in a leadership capacity, utilizing Daily Management techniques.
- Conduct quality audits, sampling, and testing procedures.
- Execute precise measurements, instrument setups, inspections, analyses, and documentation for products.
- Identify inconsistencies or areas lacking process improvement and report findings to supervisors and production staff while assisting in problem resolution.
- Support Document Management initiatives.
- Oversee the quality and calibration schedules of testing equipment.
- Analyze data and quality production information for management reporting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Utilize technical resources such as drawings, blueprints, and manuals effectively.
- Independently conduct laboratory experiments adhering to specified standards.
- Experience with measuring, safety, and laboratory equipment.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to present information clearly.
- Maintain accurate records in both written and electronic formats while presenting results in various formats.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to support Records Management by creating, storing, and managing company records.
- Demonstrate proven experience in coordinating and managing multiple training sessions on and off the production floor.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
