WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Inspecting:
Conduct visual, manual, and digital inspections of products and raw materials, ensuring compliance with Anduril’s rigorous standards as defined by both internal and external engineering teams, along with quality management system (QMS) requirements.
Measuring:
Utilize calipers, gauges, micrometers, and metrology tools to accurately measure product dimensions, confirming alignment with design specifications.
Testing:
Perform various tests to detect defects, employing machines for Tap testing, manual testing, and nondestructive testing (NDT/NDI) methods.
Comparing:
Evaluate products against 3D CAD models and specifications to ensure adherence to design tolerances.
Recording:
Document inspection and testing procedures and outcomes, including data such as weights, temperatures, and quantities inspected.
Process Improvements:
Suggest enhancements to assembly or production processes based on inspection and testing findings.
Rejecting:
Identify and isolate non-compliant products and materials, marking them until issues are rectified.
