As an integral member of our Quality Assurance Team, the Quality Assurance Analyst II will be a skilled professional who independently plans and executes testing for specific features or components. This position plays a crucial role in test case design, execution, and defect management while fostering collaboration with developers, product managers, and delivery teams to uphold quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. We are looking for a candidate who can work autonomously, apply sound testing judgment, and continuously enhance their technical and automation capabilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution
- Independently design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases for assigned features or components.
- Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and basic performance testing.
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to identify test coverage gaps and edge cases.
- Validate fixes and confirm readiness for feature or release progression.
Defect Management & Quality Feedback
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, and impact assessments.
- Collaborate with developers to triage, clarify, and resolve defects efficiently.
- Monitor defects through resolution and verify fixes during regression cycles.
- Communicate quality risks, testing status, and findings to the delivery team.
Test Documentation & Environments
- Update and maintain test documentation, including test cases and regression suites.
- Assist in setting up test environments, configurations, and preparing test data.
- Ensure test artifacts remain accurate and aligned with evolving functionality.
Collaboration & Agile Participation
- Engage actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
- Work collaboratively with developers and product managers to enhance testability and quality outcomes.
- Support internal or customer-facing test events as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Skill Growth
- Adhere to established QA processes and standards consistently.
- Offer suggestions for improving test efficiency, coverage, or tooling.
