Your Role:
As a Prototype Test Technician, you will be at the forefront of testing cutting-edge technologies that enhance software and performance. Your commitment to precision will help shape the future of driving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate test vehicles on long-distance local missions (up to 300-400 miles) and select multi-day trips across the U.S.
- Conduct daily start-up, engagement, disengagement, and shutdown procedures for development vehicles.
- Perform testing in adherence to stringent safety and compliance protocols.
- Represent Latitude professionally while driving in public settings, prioritizing the safety of all road users.
- Exhibit expertise throughout all development stages, from early software and hardware testing to mature systems in varied environments.
- Demonstrate leadership by promoting a culture of safety and providing positive influence to team members.
- Offer coaching, feedback, and support to enhance team performance.
- May oversee and coordinate the activities of a small group, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Willingness to travel, including air travel, is required.
- Utilize creative problem-solving methods to diagnose and resolve complex physical and operational issues.
