Project Worker, Georges Hill Short Term Accommodation, Dublin

The Project Worker at George’s Hill Short Term Accommodation (STA) plays a vital role in assisting residents to transition from homelessness to stable, long-term housing. This position involves providing consistent support to young individuals from their entry into the service until they successfully move on to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
Align with Focus Ireland’s mission, values, and health & safety policies.
Assist in the daily operations of the STA, including reception tasks on a 7-day rotating schedule.
Establish and nurture trusting relationships with at-risk youth, guiding them toward stability.
Manage a designated caseload, meeting with clients regularly to facilitate their move-on plans.
Conduct assessments and create support plans within the Case Management system to promote independent living.
Offer guidance and support regarding welfare rights, housing resources, training, and employment opportunities.
Maintain precise casework records and ensure data entry complies with GDPR standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations, including housing providers and local authorities.
Participate in meetings, supervision, reflective practice groups, and required training sessions.
Perform additional responsibilities as necessary to achieve strategic goals.
