Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects and overseeing production in the context of external manufacturing (Third Party Manufacturing) of product batches for clinical trials while adhering to regulatory standards for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Reviewing manufacturing-related documents and assessing deviations and change processes with external manufacturers.
- Creating and reviewing function-specific documents and standard operating procedures.
- Providing on-site oversight of external manufacturing (TPM Oversight), with travel requirements of approximately 10% domestically and internationally.
- Acting as a strategic partner and key contact for project and process transfer between AbbVie and external manufacturers.
- Participating in the planning and organization of international and global project meetings with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely execution of project activities and managing timelines and objectives.
- Initiating, supporting, and tracking GMP audits and contracts (CDAs, Quality Agreements, Service Agreements) to ensure timely engagement of external manufacturing services.
- Initiating and tracking requests for proposals and order placements related to external manufacturing.
- Developing a concept for evaluating and monitoring new manufacturers, defining selection criteria, and involving cross-functional teams.
