FLINT is actively looking for a skilled Project Manager for a project-based opportunity in Empress, Alberta, commencing in late June 2026 and concluding in October 2026. The role encompasses heavy rigging mechanical and piping operations, critical lifts, and strategic pre-planning, focusing primarily on bolt-up piping with minimal onsite welding. This position operates on a 12 & 2 rotation, comprising 10-hour workdays, and includes a per diem of $165/day for living expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with mechanical client representatives throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Administer contracts in accordance with client specifications, ensuring that the scope of work, terms, and conditions are well understood and communicated to management.
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring that execution plans are developed and adhered to in order to meet project goals and timelines.
- Assist in the formulation of the initial budget, manage modifications, assess progress, and create accurate forecasts.
- Guide the Project Controls team, formally assessing performance, providing constructive feedback, and addressing any issues related to performance.
