The Project Engineer will serve a pivotal role in providing technical guidance to ensure that each project adheres to engineering and operational standards. This includes preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, providing specifications, and collaborating closely with the project team and stakeholders to define project requirements. You will assist the Project Manager in developing the scope of work, budget, and timeline, and will lead multi-disciplinary teams to produce technical deliverables for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, schedule, and budget.
- Assist in the design, planning, and engineering phases of projects, ensuring all requirements are satisfied.
- Review and approve engineering designs to confirm compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Provide ongoing engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to installation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Conduct continuous risk assessments and create strategies to mitigate technical, operational, and safety risks.
- Assist in selecting and managing contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, and progress reports.
- Monitor project progress and address technical challenges as they arise.
- Ensure adherence to industry codes, regulations, and company safety and environmental policies.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to uphold high work standards.
- Assist in monitoring project costs and ensuring budget compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, safety, environmental, and maintenance, for seamless project execution.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and the integration of new technologies.
