As a Project Engineer for Production Management, you will play a crucial operational role in supporting and enhancing the production organization within a fast-paced project that features extensive interfaces and stringent quality, environmental, and workplace safety requirements.

About the Role of Project Engineer for Production Management
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Production Manager, Block Manager, and Foreman, serving as a qualified support to the production organization. You'll be responsible for defining, clarifying, and training the organization in work methodologies compliant with legislation, contracts, and NCC's operational systems, with a particular focus on the production phase.
Your responsibilities will include actively identifying needs, planning support measures, executing actions, and monitoring adherence to work methodologies and routines within NCC's digital systems.
This role requires close cooperation with both production and project management, making you a vital link between operational production and overarching project governance. You will also engage in deviation management, including analyses (e.g., ROT analysis), propose improvement measures, prepare work instructions (RAMS), and ensure consistent reporting in the project's diary.
Your Profile as a Project Engineer for Production Management
We are looking for candidates with post-secondary education in construction, such as a civil engineer or equivalent experience.
You should have several years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in production-related roles, with a solid understanding of how production, economics, and quality interrelate in practice.
To excel in this role, we believe you possess:
- Experience in production planning and project administration
- Strong understanding of economic relationships in production
- Extensive knowledge of quality, environmental, and workplace safety requirements
- Ability to work systematically and methodically
- High analytical skills
- Capacity to switch between holistic perspectives and detailed levels
You are confident in taking a guiding role and have the ability to foster understanding and engagement around work methodologies and project governance within the organization.
You communicate fluently in English, which is the project's working language, and have strong proficiency in both spoken and written forms.
