Join Synchrony Group as a Project Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting project management efforts and enhancing the productivity of our internal project teams. Your primary responsibilities will include providing administrative support, executing essential project management tasks, and overseeing project management systems. This position is designed for rapid advancement to a Project Manager role, where you will take independent ownership of project management duties for specific client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Tracking
- Initiate new projects in the management system and establish project templates on the server.
- Assist in the creation and updating of project plans and timelines.
- Help develop and maintain weekly and daily internal and client status reports.
- Disseminate documents and next steps to the team promptly.
- Communicate progress on project deliverables and assist in problem-solving to adhere to deadlines.
- Support the maintenance of an electronic filing system and records for all projects.
- Assist in managing and executing project uploads into the client’s electronic review and approval system.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
Financial Management and Tracking
- Input and maintain project budgets and billing schedules in the company’s financial system.
- Assess project progress against contracted billing schedules and initiate accounts receivable invoice requests.
- Monitor project status and notify Account Services of budgetary risks or financial impacts beyond the scope.
- Conduct budget reconciliations upon project completion.
- Generate reports and assist with various data entry tasks as required.
Account Management Support
- Assist the Account Services team in delivering project-related updates to clients, covering aspects such as financial status, timelines, and client reviews.
- Collaborate with the Account Services team to ensure timely responses to client requests and manage the completion and delivery of these requests.
Quality and Risk Control
- Ensure the completion of all quality control measures, including editorial and graphics reviews.
- Establish and maintain electronic files for all projects.
- Take responsibility for file management to uphold version control throughout the project lifecycle.
