Your Responsibilities:
- Utilize the company's financial and cornerstone systems and processes.
- Implement financial terminology, metrics, and data analysis concepts in your assignments.
- Identify processes and project actions that may influence project financial outcomes.
- Develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for smaller projects.
- Assist in utilizing project drawings and specifications to establish baseline data.
- Conduct preliminary analyses of cost and schedule variances.
- Foster an understanding of accounting principles.
- Help compile data for trend analysis and forecasting.
- Grasp progress and performance data along with associated concepts, participating in data collection and performance trend reviews.
- Familiarize yourself with earned value, scope control, and change management methodologies.
- Gather and analyze data on manpower, labor hours, and labor costs in relation to budget constraints.
- Track actual costs against funding limitations.
- Support the monitoring of purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
- Understand the principles of project revenue and cost.
- Gain exposure to fundamental scheduling and cost baseline concepts.
- Engage with performance management and cost/schedule integration principles.
- Enhance your knowledge of scope control and change management.
- Assist with project reporting processes as needed.
- Participate in project cost review meetings as required.
