POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated Project Architect / Project Manager to join our expanding team and contribute to our innovative projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage multiple small to medium-sized projects, including luxury single-family homes, hospitality, and commercial spaces.
- Develop comprehensive project staff schedules detailing responsibilities, phase durations, key milestones, and necessary submittals, collaborating closely with the management team.
- Promptly communicate critical issues, client schedule concerns, budgetary challenges, or ethical dilemmas to senior-level architects or ownership.
- Handle all client communications related to design processes, budget management, billing inquiries, timelines, submittals, and administrative matters, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
- Assume ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of finished plans, specifications, design details, materials, technical drawings, and construction administration for assigned projects.
- Prepare client proposals, estimates, and scopes of work as needed.
- Assist in drafting client agreements while comprehensively understanding the scope of work as outlined in AIA agreements and documents.
- Manage consultant agreements to ensure compliance with the intended scope of services.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to ensure timely invoicing and to address any billing questions or conflicts.
- Coordinate the efforts of all consultants, or supervise consultant coordination performed by other team members, maintaining accountability for accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor and manage staff involved in all assigned projects, ensuring alignment with management team requirements.
- Work independently to drive projects forward, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets with occasional oversight.
- Utilize advanced techniques and adapt theories and practices to enhance project outcomes.
