The Division of Disease Control is dedicated to protecting the health of New Yorkers by identifying, monitoring, treating, controlling, and preventing infectious diseases. The Bureau of Division Management & Systems Coordination (DMSC) spearheads various administrative, surveillance, informatics, preparedness, policy, communications, community engagement, and racial equity and social justice initiatives. This role, reporting to the Director of Programs and Strategy, will collaborate with various program units within DMSC and Disease Control staff to support ELC Grants and future funding opportunities by streamlining internal processes and offering program management support for the Division's initiatives in New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple projects related to critical community services across DMSC, collaborating with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and ensure successful implementation.
- Work in tandem with leadership and fiscal teams to craft and execute a strategic programmatic roadmap, providing expert insights on complex issues tied to vendor-supported Surveillance and Informatics projects.
- Generate and maintain planning and reporting documents for funding, while tracking project progress and grant expenditures.
- Propose strategies for stakeholder engagement and vendor contracts.
- Review vendor-contracted project plans, monitor deliverables, and support contract development, amendments, and invoicing.
- Manage all logistical processes, including organizing meetings, gathering and analyzing feedback, and overseeing budget and contracts.
- Identify resource needs such as training, evaluation, and technical assistance, providing program management support for those areas.
- Facilitate meetings among project partners and stakeholders.
