The Role
The Production Scheduler is pivotal in translating long-term production strategies into actionable daily and weekly schedules that align with our overarching goals. You will analyze diverse inputs to ensure our monthly production objectives are met, optimizing inventory levels to support our growth trajectory.

Responsibilities
- Transform a monthly production plan into precise daily and weekly production schedules.
- Continuously update and assess key data points to translate production needs into hourly requirements.
- Create daily and weekly shift schedules to ensure adherence to production plans, including overtime considerations.
- Facilitate the allocation of resources at optimal times across departments.
- Adjust line loading and production scheduling based on planned or unplanned employee absences.
- Enhance run strategies to maximize throughput and minimize waste through efficient batch sizes and SKU management.
- Verify the availability of all materials to meet production targets.
- Establish and uphold routings for unit operations.
- Lead the creation, communication, and execution of the site production schedule across all product lines.
- Develop flower allocations based on shipment, inventory, and sales strategies.
- Meticulously review demand forecasts to optimize inventory levels and avert potential lost sales.
- Communicate production schedules and inventory forecasts proactively to site leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with Operations Leadership, Procurement, and Supply Chain Planning teams to ensure the successful delivery of the production plan.
- Analyze supply chain processes, pinpointing opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency.
- Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge success and identify areas for improvement.
