SUMMARY
The Product Operations Associate plays a pivotal role in providing vital operational and administrative support to the Product Development, Sales, and Sourcing teams. This position is responsible for overseeing product documentation, managing sample logistics, and ensuring accurate style setups and packaging details, all aimed at achieving seamless execution across various product categories. The associate will work closely with both internal teams and external factory partners to guarantee precise product data, timely approvals, and efficient production processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Design and Sourcing teams by coordinating operational tasks throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage incoming sample shipments, distributing them effectively while organizing the sample closet for sourcing, sales, and design requirements.
- Track and fulfill sample requests, overseeing shipments to customers, internal teams, and factories.
- Create, update, and verify the accuracy of PLM tech packs, ensuring consistency in product records.
- Develop and maintain production tech packs (spec sheets) for all product categories, including detailed product information, images, packaging details, supplier data, labeling instructions, dimensions, and bilingual content as necessary.
- Act as the primary liaison for factories, ensuring clear communication and compliance.
- Approve pre-bulk SMS samples for materials and construction; supervise FIT sessions to confirm accuracy in color, labeling, packaging, and overall execution.
- Maintain ongoing communication with factories to share tech packs, manage development needs, clarify production requirements, and facilitate sample approvals.
- Keep meticulous records of sample status, approvals, and all outgoing requests.
- Enhance organizational efficiency by maintaining well-structured digital and physical product records.
- Manage samples and line presentations effectively.
