At Datadog, our Incident Management product is crucial during crisis situations, helping customers navigate outages that jeopardize their operations. As a Product Manager II, you will play a pivotal role in transforming chaos into order: from declaring incidents and mobilizing responders to coordinating remediation efforts and ensuring every outage becomes a learning experience to avert future incidents.
This product is expansive and technically sophisticated, encompassing features such as real-time user interfaces, automation, AI-generated summaries and suggestions, comprehensive documentation and runbooks, task management, incident state management, analytics, and seamless integrations with leading third-party communication platforms.
Your responsibility will include enhancing features that minimize Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) for some of the most intricate cloud systems globally, collaborating closely with other product teams to create a streamlined incident response process. The visibility of your work will extend to both customers and internal stakeholders, influencing how organizations maintain reliable services at scale.
Datadog stands out in delivering exceptional incident response capabilities through effective telemetry (metrics, traces, logs), orchestrating responders via alerting and paging, and utilizing automation throughout the incident management lifecycle.
