About the Role:
Join our innovative team at pavago as a Product Designer, where you'll be instrumental in crafting the complete user experience for our digital products. This role demands a harmonious blend of user-centric design with strategic business goals, resulting in designs that are not only functional but also intuitive and scalable. As a Product Designer, you will spearhead research efforts, prototype development, design system establishment, and collaborate closely with engineering and product management teams to breathe life into exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research & Discovery:
- Perform user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to uncover user needs and challenges.
- Develop personas, journey maps, and user flows to inform design strategies.
- Evaluate product usage analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar) to guide design iterations.
- Wireframing & Prototyping:
- Convert insights into low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity prototypes utilizing tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Rapidly iterate and test designs with stakeholders and users prior to development.
- UI & Interaction Design:
- Create pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Define interaction patterns, animations, and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
- Ensure design consistency across platforms by upholding component libraries and style guides.
- Design Systems:
- Develop and sustain scalable design systems that encompass typography, color schemes, icons, and reusable components.
- Promote adherence to design system standards across all teams.
- Accessibility & Usability:
- Integrate WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards into every design.
- Conduct usability testing across various devices, screen sizes, and assistive technologies.
- Collaboration & Handoff:
- Collaborate with product managers to establish project scope and priorities.
- Partner with engineers to ensure precise execution of designs using tools like Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode, or InVision Inspect.
- Provide ongoing support during development to address edge cases.
- Iteration & Testing:
- Collect user feedback post-launch and analyze product performance.
- Conduct A/B tests on UI variations to validate enhancements.
- Continuously refine workflows to elevate user outcomes.
