We are seeking a talented and experienced Procurement Officer to oversee purchasing operations for our fit-out and interior projects. This role encompasses sourcing materials, negotiating supplier contracts, issuing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), and ensuring timely delivery aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for fit-out materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and MEP components.
- Draft and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and subcontract agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to optimize procurement efficiency.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials are received on time and in optimal condition.
- Maintain detailed procurement records, vendor databases, and expense reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to facilitate seamless operations.
- Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and local regulations.
- Proactively identify alternative suppliers and materials to mitigate the impact of delays or shortages.
- Assist in budget management, cost analysis, and forecasting material needs.
- Effectively resolve supplier-related issues, discrepancies, and claims.
