We are seeking a skilled Process Technology Manager to join our KP Snacks team at the Billingham facility. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a recognized expert in snack food processes, someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, manufacturing, and innovation. You will play a vital role in shaping and enhancing our process engineering capabilities within KP Snacks and the broader Intersnack Group.
About the Position
In this specialized role, you will contribute your expertise in process engineering to key initiatives at KP Snacks. As a subject matter expert, you will expand your knowledge of snack food processing while playing a critical role in implementing advanced process engineering technologies, establishing best practices, and enhancing long-term capabilities at one of our largest manufacturing sites in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with technical teams across UK and Intersnack facilities, leading process capability requirements for mid-term new product development (NPD), optimization programs, and sustainability initiatives. Your initial focus will include agronomy sourcing/preparation and oil/frying technologies. Additionally, you will work to strengthen the interfaces between R&D and Manufacturing teams, partner with external suppliers, and contribute to discussions with experts to promote best practices across our UK technical network.
