Join our team as a Process Engineer - Extrusion at WireCo, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing extrusion products that meet customer satisfaction, comply with industry standards, and align with our organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, encompassing design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, throughout the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept through to full-scale production. You will conduct feasibility studies, oversee prototype testing, and refine production processes to elevate product quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and performance enhancement that contributes to our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities
- Process Design: Collaborate on the creation and enhancement of extrusion processes to maximize efficiency and product quality.
- Process Control: Monitor and adjust parameters to ensure product specifications are met.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues during production.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with process, maintenance, quality, and production teams to address non-conforming extrusion products.
- Innovation: Research and implement new technologies to enhance existing extrusion processes.
- Development: Recommend suitable materials and process parameters.
- Process Monitoring: Support real-time production to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Preventive Maintenance: Collaborate with the tooling area to ensure optimal condition of components.
- Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to extrusion master validation plans for prototypes, development, or new product registrations.
- Training: Assist operational personnel in techniques, best practices, and the use of ancillary equipment.
