Role
We are seeking a skilled Principal DevSecOps Engineer to join our Engineering team in a hybrid capacity based in Bangalore, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering.
You will become a key member of the team responsible for developing the world’s largest cloud security platform from inception. Bring your vision and enthusiasm to enable organizations globally to embrace speed and agility through a cloud-first strategy, while driving the strategic vision for security integration across our expansive global operations.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Define and promote the long-term vision and roadmap for DevSecOps, ensuring seamless integration of security into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and cloud operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the SDLC and DevSecOps landscape, aimed at optimizing delivery timelines, code quality, and security measures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, monitoring the effectiveness of initiatives through key metrics and KPIs for reporting to leadership.
- Oversee the execution of continuous vulnerability assessment and penetration testing initiatives with an organization-wide impact.
- Implement security objectives across DevSecOps utilizing best practices and innovative technologies.
