Location: This is a hybrid position based in our Canonsburg, PA office, with a current expectation of two in-office days each week (Tuesday and Wednesday), plus additional days as required throughout the month.
Business Unit: Pharmacy (software is Scriptmed)
Overview: The Principal Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in analyzing and optimizing operational processes related to customer onboarding and support. This position collaborates closely with the operations team to align their needs with the engineering team, defining requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. As the subject matter expert, the Principal Business Analyst will be instrumental in implementing and supporting the product(s).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis efforts, gathering requirements and managing product backlog while ensuring high-quality deliverables for internal and external clients.
- Partner with operations teams to document, analyze, and enhance operational processes, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and assessing the impact of these changes.
- Evaluate existing systems or applications to identify operational issues, conceptualize solutions, and oversee the development process for enhancements, from planning through testing to implementation.
- Establish data and project requirements, applying analytical judgment and statistical methods as necessary.
- Facilitate monthly User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the assigned platform, addressing issues, and leading demos for internal stakeholders. Validate and test solutions by executing user acceptance plans in collaboration with the development team.
