Your Responsibilities:
We offer reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Fulfill all tasks to ensure departmental and plant production goals are met daily and weekly.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools in accordance with local and national codes.
- Diagnose issues with systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify breakdown causes and resolve problems.
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components for hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure code compliance.
- Advise management on the safety of continued operation of equipment.
- Test electrical systems and circuit continuity in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure system compatibility and safety.
- Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes.
- Learn installation, maintenance, or repair techniques from Electricians II and III.
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine wiring and equipment locations, ensuring compliance with specifications.
