Your responsibilities will encompass surface preparation, sanding, polishing, and masking, all while adhering to strict quality and safety standards. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting through sanding, polishing, priming, and masking as required.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including palm sanders, polishers, and masking equipment, to achieve a pristine surface.
- Implement detailed preparation techniques to ensure first-time quality and minimize rework.
- Collaborate closely with painters and the production team to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, process sheets, and instructions to adhere to precise preparation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with all safety standards.
- Inspect and report any surface defects or inconsistencies prior to the painting process.
- Follow all company safety policies and handle materials appropriately.
