We are currently seeking a dedicated IoT Support Engineer - Networking Solutions (m/w/d) to join our expanding team at our new hub in München. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with international colleagues, particularly our technical teams in Lithuania, as well as with customers and partners worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
In this position, you will merge technical expertise with a strong customer focus, guiding our clients through both the pre-sales and after-sales phases:
- Providing technical consultation to customers regarding the integration and utilization of Teltonika Networking Products (Routers, Switches, Gateways, Modems).
- Analyzing and independently resolving technical issues (configuration, firmware, software, networks).
- Working with Linux-based operating systems, industrial protocols, network services, and occasionally third-party peripherals.
- Communicating with customers and internal teams via ticket systems, email, and online meetings.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation (e.g., Knowledge Base, Teltonika Wiki).
- Assisting in the development of sustainable technical solutions.
- Collaborating closely with R&D and other internal departments on complex technical inquiries.
- Optional: Conducting product training for internal teams or external partners.
Your Profile
Technical Qualifications
- Completed degree or comparable training in a technical or engineering field.
- Hands-on experience with network devices (e.g., Routers, Gateways).
- Strong knowledge of IP networks, routing, and switching.
- Experience with mobile technologies (2G/3G/4G), data connections, and authentication processes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with WiFi technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac).
- Experience with VPN technologies (e.g., IPSec, OpenVPN, L2TP, SSTP) is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of firewall concepts (e.g., iptables) and Linux-based systems (e.g., OpenWRT).
- CCNA or comparable certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
