**Candidates MUST BE local to the Irvine, California area with a willingness to work on-site two to three days per week as necessary**
As the Pre-Sales Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of leading, developing, and nurturing a dynamic team of pre-sales engineers. This role involves close collaboration with Engineering Leadership to enhance processes, align goals, and report on performance while coordinating with peers to set business priorities across various supported technologies.
Your Impact
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Oversee, mentor, and develop the Pre-Sales team.
- Lead a team of systems engineers to provide pre-sales technical support during sales presentations, solution development, and product demonstrations of ePlus capabilities.
- Mentor and grow your Sales Engineering team to ensure they possess the skills necessary to deliver solutions around our strategic technologies such as Core, Data Center, UC, and Security.
- Refine processes and procedures to reduce errors, enhance efficiencies, and guarantee a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
- Manage group workload and resource allocation across multiple projects/opportunities in collaboration with the pre-sales coordinator.
- Establish methodologies for measuring and delegating opportunities that provide visibility into workload and anticipated needs.
