We are seeking a dedicated Platform Engineer to join our Managed Services team.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Solution Design and Implementation:
- Design and deploy scalable, dependable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures utilizing Google Cloud Platform services.
- Evaluate business needs and propose suitable cloud technologies and structures.
- Create and manage cloud infrastructure code with tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Infrastructure Management and Automation:
- Oversee and automate the deployment, scaling, and management of cloud environments using tools such as Kubernetes or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Enhance infrastructure expenses by analyzing usage and implementing cost-saving strategies like reserved instances or rightsizing.
- Adopt infrastructure-as-code methodologies to ensure uniformity, repeatability, and version control of cloud settings.
Security and Compliance:
- Establish and sustain security protocols and policies to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of cloud resources and data.
- Monitor and react to security incidents and vulnerabilities, conducting regular assessments and audits.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Supervise cloud services and infrastructure for performance, availability, and security issues using tools like Stackdriver or Prometheus.
- Conduct root cause analyses and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure.
