Join a dynamic team of five board-certified plastic surgeons at OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio, the largest city in the state. This position offers a unique opportunity for both new and established plastic surgeons to thrive in a Level One trauma center recognized for its comprehensive care.
The role primarily involves a general reconstructive practice, encompassing general wound reconstruction, trauma reconstruction, limb reconstruction, hand surgery, and facial surgery. Additionally, there is significant potential to build an elective practice, including breast reconstruction, body contouring, and cosmetic procedures, catering to candidates with interests in these areas.
You will be supported by a dedicated team of four Advanced Practice Providers and residents from various disciplines, enhancing collaboration in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, and operating rooms. The primary facility, Grant Medical Center, is the busiest Level One trauma center in the region and is poised for major expansion over the next five years, creating an environment ripe for professional growth.
Expectations: Applicants must be capable and willing to take Level One facial trauma call, including dental-alveolar trauma. Call expectations are 1:5 for both hand and plastics calls, with 3-10 operative consults daily.
