About the job
Join CruxOCM as a Pipeline Simulation Engineer!
CruxOCM is a pioneer in automation technology within the heavy industry, particularly in the energy sector. As a venture capital-backed innovator, we are focused on reshaping the future of this industry.
Our mission is to equip control room operators with the most advanced tools necessary for performing their tasks with safety and efficiency, while reducing their environmental footprint and enhancing profitability. Just as pilots benefit from autopilot technology, we believe control room operators deserve a similar level of support.
Position Overview
We are on the lookout for an experienced Pipeline Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as an expert in hydraulic behavior, responsible for constructing, maintaining, and analyzing simulation models that accurately represent the flow of oil or gas through our clients' pipelines.
You will act as a critical link between theoretical fluid dynamics and practical operations, employing simulation tools to create precise digital twins of client assets. This will enable our automation software to guarantee flow assurance, optimize energy consumption, and uphold the safety and integrity of our clients’ infrastructure.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), this pivotal role combines technical expertise with leadership. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams—Product, Engineering, and Deployment—to align on client needs, the product roadmap, and the overarching simulation strategy.
