The Pilates Manager acts as the strategic leader of the department, fostering a vibrant team culture that emphasizes operational excellence and an exceptional member experience. Operational Management:
- Work towards achieving the monthly and annual financial objectives of the Pilates department.
- Ensure that both complimentary and paid Pilates services maintain high quality to encourage ongoing member participation.
- Participate in weekly club management meetings and monthly sessions with Pilates instructors.
- Collaborate with Membership Advisors to enhance Pilates service offerings.
- Organize and engage in special events at the club.
- Implement operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) including administrative tasks related to client outreach and staff responsibilities.
Team Culture Leadership:
- Work collaboratively with all club departments to promote synergy.
- Conduct team meetings to foster a positive culture and encourage continuous personal and professional growth.
- Manage instructor behavior and performance to uphold high standards and expectations.
- Develop personal Pilates business while mentoring the team to grow their own.
- Actively participate in hiring processes, ensuring a superb candidate experience.
- Proactively assess staffing needs to meet hiring goals.
- Lead the onboarding process for new hires, focusing on operational and sales training.
Learning & Development:
- Train and develop both new and current Pilates instructors to build and sustain their businesses.
- Promote ongoing education workshops in Pilates.
- Participate in the Equinox Pilates Education Program for further learning opportunities.
