Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Technician is a vital unlicensed associate who collaborates directly with licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists. You will work in compliance with state and company protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.
- Assist patients in performing prescribed therapy exercises while documenting their responses.
- Administer basic treatments such as applying ice and heat as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of therapy areas and equipment, including laundering linens.
- Handle administrative duties, including patient intake, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Computer proficiency and eagerness to learn new software.
