If you possess exceptional organizational skills and are comfortable managing sensitive information, this temporary position provides valuable hands-on experience within a dynamic tax team.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver daily administrative support to the Tax Department by preparing, organizing, and maintaining client tax documents, statements, and returns.
* Coordinate the processing, tracking, and distribution of outgoing mail and packages, including certified mail and courier services, with occasional local deliveries.
* Draft and finalize engagement letters, correspondence, reports, and related documents based on provided materials or drafts.
* Assist tax principals and managers by coordinating client documentation, reports, and deliverables while upholding strict confidentiality.
* Oversee the physical handling of tax returns, including printing, binding, organizing, and ensuring the timely return of original client materials.
* Complete additional administrative and departmental support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required; experience in a professional services or tax environment is a plus.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials is preferred.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service.
* Collaborative team player who demonstrates sound judgment and handles highly confidential information with care.
Position Details:
* Temporary position from February 2, 2026, to April 24, 2026.
* Compensation at $28 per hour.
* Work hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
* 100% on-site in McLean, VA.
