Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or opt for four 10-hour shifts.
Setting: Work in a Private Outpatient Physical Therapy Practice.
EMR: Utilize WebPT for efficient patient management.
Patient Volume: Manage 1 patient per hour.
Salary: Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to enhance our outpatient care team. In this role, you will collaborate with a supervising Physical Therapist to execute treatment plans, assist patients in their therapeutic activities, and ensure consistent progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively implement treatment plans under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in therapeutic exercises and track their activity progression.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and provide updates to the Physical Therapist.
- Reinforce home exercise programs and educate patients on their recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using WebPT.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Possession of an active Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Outpatient experience is preferred but not mandatory.
