Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to prepare, administer, and assess examinations while participating in final evaluations.
- Ensure class attendance and grades are accurately maintained and submitted.
- Assist in strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to uphold program quality.
- Facilitate the orientation of new faculty within theoretical and clinical settings.
- Apply adult learning principles in teaching methods.
- Continuously enhance the quality of instruction.
- Integrate online activities to enrich course content during interactive teaching.
- Maintain comprehensive student records including attendance and skills assessments.
- Timely submission of required program reports to the Program Director.
- Stay updated with new technologies and safety regulations.
- Engage in committee activities that support the nursing program’s mission.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in student clinical experiences.
- Evaluate student performance concerning clinical learning outcomes, adhering to Unitek College policies.
- Provide immediate feedback on clinical performance after observations.
- Ensure clinical assignments align with both student and facility needs.
- Determine effective methods for student observation, instruction, and evaluation.
- Assess clinical facilities for compliance with health and safety standards.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with students through scheduled office hours and other methods.
- Engage in student advising activities.
