ROLE OVERVIEW
The People & Talent Manager is pivotal in shaping how Swish attracts, onboards, and cultivates top talent while preserving our unique culture and driving the talent bar higher as we grow. This role demands a balance between pace and quality, ensuring we scale efficiently without compromising on standards. You will spearhead the recruitment process, develop a streamlined onboarding experience, and implement essential people operations that bolster high performance. This is a hands-on role that offers a clear trajectory toward broader leadership in people management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the complete recruitment cycle at Swish, from defining roles and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews, extending offers, and finalizing hires.
Create an efficient, repeatable hiring process, complete with defined workflows, scorecards, and structured interview loops.
Serve as a hiring bar-raiser, empowered to question decisions and delay hiring for roles until the right candidates are found.
Collaborate with leadership to clarify job roles, levels, and hiring priorities.
Design an onboarding experience that facilitates quick integration and connection for new hires from their first day.
Manage core people operations as the company scales, including feedback loops, managerial support, and foundational performance processes.
Act as a reliable point of contact for employees, dealing with sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment.
