The People Partner for Europe (Italy, Spain & Portugal) will report to the People Director and collaborate closely with both the European and global HR teams, along with various global functions including Finance and Legal, as well as external partners and service providers. This pivotal role is designed to address the HR needs of managers and employees across multiple countries in Europe.
The ideal candidate will be based in Ireland, possess substantial HR experience across at least two European countries (with Italy being a requirement), and be fluent in Italian. Knowledge of additional European languages, particularly Spanish and Portuguese, is a strong advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborating with HR leadership to comprehend business needs across Europe and facilitate day-to-day HR operations.
- Overseeing the complete employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, contract modifications, compensation and benefits, absence management, employee data, compliance, and employee relations.
- Ensuring data integrity across HR systems and tools.
- Acting as a liaison between Shared Services (HR, Finance, Legal) and internal stakeholders.
- Managing interactions with authorities and external providers concerning compensation and benefits, social security, and mobility.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Administering HR programs including performance and talent management, recognition, employee morale, development, leave policies, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Developing and executing HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws.
- Staying informed about HR trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, including the application of AI in HR.
- Supporting international mobility and relocation processes.
- Guiding stakeholders through sensitive discussions and transitions.
- Leading or supporting initiatives in training, diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement.
- Serving as an ambassador for the company culture and enhancing internal communications.
- Demonstrating a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
