Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Generalist to take charge of the daily operations that drive Braintrust forward. This role is pivotal in shaping our operational efficiency, compliance, and workplace culture as we scale for growth. You will collaborate closely with our People leadership, operations teams, and external partners to ensure our systems remain efficient, compliant, and centered around our people.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the entire onboarding and offboarding process, including implementing the onboarding buddy program, conducting cohort sessions, and facilitating 30/60/90-day check-ins, using data to continually enhance the ramp-up experience for new hires.
Oversee immigration support throughout the employee lifecycle, coordinating with external legal counsel and employees to ensure timely progress on cases.
Manage employee benefits across the US, Canada, and EMEA, including enrollment, leave management (Cocoon), workers' compensation, and 401(k) administration.
Support performance management initiatives, including review cycles, performance improvement plans, and manager training.
Utilize AI tools to streamline documentation, reporting, and employee communications, enhancing overall efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
2–4 years of hands-on experience in People Operations, demonstrating ownership of your responsibilities.
A highly organized and detail-oriented individual who ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
Strong communication skills, characterized by clarity and empathy, making you a trusted resource for employees.
Proficient in HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms.
Experience in a high-growth startup environment and a proven track record of building processes from the ground up.
