Job Description
As a Payroll Coordinator at Olsson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate preparation, balancing, and timely distribution of payroll across the firm (weekly, biweekly, and off cycle). You will also oversee payroll recordkeeping and reporting, maintain employee data, and collaborate with employees and internal stakeholders to address payroll inquiries. Note that weekend and holiday work hours may be necessary based on payroll schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, process, and balance firmwide payrolls.
- Maintain employee records in UKG and support integrations with Deltek VantagePoint as necessary.
- Assist in payroll tax-related activities, including reviewing tax filings and responding to inquiries.
- Process and reconcile payroll deductions, and assist with setting up new deductions and jurisdictions.
- Generate payroll reports and maintain organized, audit-ready documentation.
- Contribute to the development of payroll procedures, job aids, and communications that align with firm standards.
- Partner with employees and internal teams to resolve payroll questions and deliver exceptional client service.
