Are you ready to play a pivotal role in payroll and accounting management for a network of retailers? Under the guidance of the accountant, our future Payroll and Accounting Technician will ensure the coordination and validation of payroll data in collaboration with a recognized payroll service, while also managing accounts payable. Serving as a crucial link between managers, the payroll provider, and accounting, this position ensures the accuracy of employee records and the reliability of financial information.
Your Responsibilities:
Collect, verify, and validate payroll data submitted by managers (hours, leaves, bonuses, commissions, adjustments, special situations);
Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable standards;
Submit validated data by deadlines and perform post-processing review of reports;
Address payroll-related inquiries from managers and employees in collaboration with the accountant;
Maintain communication with the payroll provider for corrections and adjustments;
Create, update, and maintain employee records;
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and archiving of information;
Provide required administrative information to managers (seniority, vacations, statuses, etc.);
Support the administration of employee benefits while ensuring confidentiality;
Process and verify invoices from service and goods suppliers (amounts, matching with purchase orders, coding);
Ensure adherence to internal procedures and payment deadlines;
Prepare and submit necessary information to accounting for ledger entry;
