Part-time positions require two 12-hour shifts each week with rotating weekends and holidays. Full-time roles necessitate three 12-hour shifts weekly, also with rotating weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities include assisting the Professional Registered Nurse with direct and indirect patient care activities, functioning as part of the unit staff under the nurse's supervision.
Core Responsibilities:
- Patient Care Activities
- Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
- Monitor and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure.
- Record intake and output, including drainage outputs.
- Utilize cardiac monitors and oximetry.
- Conduct EKGs as needed.
- Follow infant security protocols.
- Perform normal newborn hearing screenings.
- Collect capillary blood glucose samples for patients.
- Execute phlebotomy procedures.
- Apply fetal monitoring equipment on expectant mothers.
- Discontinue heplocks and Foley catheters and administer enemas.
- Gather specimens as required and attend to patients' needs promptly.
- Ensure timely responses to patient call lights, prioritizing emergency alerts.
- Distribute fresh drinking water and nutritional supplements to patients.
