Core Responsibilities of the Veterinarian
- Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for elderly and terminally ill pets.
- Guide families in making compassionate end-of-life decisions for their pets.
- Foster relationships with local veterinary clinics, acting as an extension of their exemplary care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- At least 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Capable of walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, standing, and reaching consistently throughout the workday.
- Comfortable with extended periods of driving.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and the ability to maintain steady hands while using medical tools.
