Job Description
We are looking for a remarkable part-time IT Operations Intern to join our dynamic Information Technology team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support within an active trading environment. You will be hands-on in deploying and maintaining systems and applications directly used by our end-users, collaborating closely with employees to meet their technology needs. Working alongside our skilled technology professionals, you will deliver solutions primarily based on Microsoft technologies. The expected commitment for this role is between 12 and 20 hours per week.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a rising sophomore in an undergraduate or master’s degree program in management information systems or computer science with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong interest in applying technology in investment management and financial markets.
Beneficial Skills and Interests
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Visual Basic, PowerShell, or similar.
- A basic understanding of coding best practices and version control.
- At least one year of experience in an IT environment.
- Knowledge of PC components, hardware, and applications.
- Strong customer service skills.
