ROLE OVERVIEW
As a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral member of our emergency care team, responding to a diverse array of cases where every moment is crucial. Your responsibilities will include triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing compassionate support to pet parents during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their skills and continue their professional development in a fast-paced environment focused on making a difference.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure every patient and client feels valued and understood, providing support throughout the treatment process.
- Deliver timely nursing care and emotional reassurance during critical situations, from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and perform various medical procedures, including IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members to enhance patient care.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, with ongoing training provided.
