Position Overview
Concorde Education is on the lookout for a dynamic and student-focused Cosmetology Instructor to lead an engaging after-school enrichment course. This course will introduce students to various cosmetology pathways such as nail technology, hairdressing, and makeup artistry. The curriculum is crafted to provide a school-appropriate exploration of essential techniques, professionalism, and industry standards, with a strong focus on hygiene, safety, and effective communication with clients.
This enrichment course does not lead to licensure and aims to provide a supportive learning environment. Instruction will be non-invasive, adhering to site policies, promoting safe, simulated practices, and utilizing age-appropriate tools and products. The instructor will guide students through a typical 10-week cycle, tailoring the pacing to meet student needs and site logistics.
What You Will Teach
Students will gain foundational knowledge and hands-on skills in three key areas: nail care basics, introductory hairstyling, and makeup fundamentals. Topics include sanitation protocols, tool safety, professional expectations, and career pathways, all designed to build creative confidence through guided practice and design challenges.
